SL Vehicle Movements  TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

  1. All prices quoted are exclusive of but not limited to including tolls, congestion charges, fuel & other expenses & VAT unless otherwise quoted at the time of booking.
  2. SL Vehicle Movements reserves the right to charge waiting time at the rate agreed between SL Vehicle Movements and for the customer for any delay in the movement of the vehicle that is outside the control of SL Vehicle Movements.
  3. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all vehicles to be moved by SL Vehicle movements are roadworthy & have the current and valid MOT- Failure in this may result in an abort fee being charged.
  4. SL Vehicle Movements reserve the right to charge for the full value of the movement if we are not advised that the movement has been cancelled by 14.00 the day before the movement.
  5. In the event of a breakdown, SL Vehicle Movements can provide this service which will be charged at cost + 20% admin fee. We will always advise the customer of the cost & get written confirmation before we go ahead and make arrangements. If you decide to arrange recovery, we will charge £30 hour waiting fee.
  6. SL Vehicle movements will not be held responsible for any unavoidable & non fault damage caused by road debris (stone chips etc).
  7. No responsibility will be accepted for any tyre or roadwheel damage caused by circumstances outside SL Vehicle Movements control & this is not limited to punctures or any failure to the wheel or tyre.
  8. In the event of an accident which requires a repair to the customers vehicle any claim below £2000 we will require 2 estimates before work is to commence for SL Vehicle movements prior approval. For damage above £2000 will be claimed under our insurance in place at the time & in all matters relating to the claim will be there final. SL Vehicle Movements will be responsible for any excess. SL Vehicle Movements will not be responsible for any consequential losses. i.e Time off road, Loss or profit.
  9. Inspect and Collect / Buyers Vehicles – We will make you aware of any conditions impacting the appraisal of the vehicle, this could include the vehicle being dirty, adverse weather or poor lighting conditions. If you wish to continue with the appraisal and collection this needs to be taken into consideration if further issues are identified when the vehicle is delivered. If the collection is cancelled, this will be charged in full as an aborted movement. It should be noted, our drivers are not trained mechanics and cannot be responsible for mechanical issues that are identified when the vehicle has been delivered. We can, if requested, carry out a short test drive and report any obvious issues that may be present.
  10. Full payment to be made within 30 days of the invoice. Queries raised after this period will not affect the invoice which must be paid within the stated 30 days
  11. Once a vehicle has been signed for by the customers then it is no longer the responsibility of SL Vehicle Movements & any claims will not be considered.
  12. Electric vehicles should be fully charged at the point of collection.
